San Vito & Cadore

San Vito di Cadore is a small Italian town located 2 hours north of Venice. The town is nestling at the foot of majestic peaks in a broad green valley in the heart of the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage site since 2009.

San Vito is located 1011 metres above the sea level and is just 10km from Cortina d’Ampezzo. It is home to the San Vito Ski Area and Parco NeveSole, being an amazing destination for your winter holidays.

In the summer, enjoy plenty of restaurants and mountain huts serving the delicious local cuisine. Mountain biking fans have plenty of trails to choose from, exploring the neighborhoods of the Cadore Valley or heading off towards other Dolomite destinations such as Dobbiaco in South Tyrol and Lienz in Austria. The fairy-tale landscape of lake Mosigo, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre, has a children’s playground and a picnic area equipped with barbecues and nearby sports facilities

MOUNT PELMO

Mount Pelmo, at 3168 m, resembles a giant block which stands isolated from other peaks. This mountain is surnamed "God's armchair" because its shape looks like an armchair.

CYCLING IN THE DOLOMITES

Ride along the "Ciclabile delle Dolomiti", a bike path that links Dobbiaco (Südtirol) with Calalzo di Cadore. The bike path flows through San Vito, following what used to be a railway track.
